Vick And Three Others Enter Plea And Hopefully Jail.

Today was the big day the dog loving community has been waiting for. And, for Michael Vick it was the day he was looking forward to missing.

He and three others entered their not guilty pleas in front of U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson.

The trial date has been set for Nov. 26 at 9:30 a.m. and Vick and his team of lawyers have decided to waived his right to a speedy trial.

“I take these charges very seriously and look forward to clearing my good name,” Vick said in a statement.

He also announced:

“I respectfully ask all of you to hold your judgment until all of the facts are shown.
Above all, I would like to say to my mom I’m sorry for what she has had to go through in this

most trying of times. It has caused pain to my family and I apologize to my family.
I also want to apologize to my Falcon teammates for not being with them at the beginning of spring training,”

Among all of the hoopla was thousands of protesters booing Michael as he approached the court from for his first of two court hearings today.

Purnell A. Peace, 35, Quanis L. Phillips, 28, of Atlanta, Ga.; and Tony Taylor, 34, and Vick face up to six years in prison and fines that total up to a whopping $350,000.
