Kiefer Sutherland, star of Fox’s 24 was recently arrested on charges of DUI. Cop’s first noticed the intoxicated actor when he made an illegal U-turn in the middle of the street.

After receiving a breathalyzer test, he was promptly arrested.

Having this be his second DUI in only 3 years, you know he’s going to face some type of stiff penalty.

Wait, what am i saying, he’s an famous actor who’ll probably just receive a slap on the wrist for this dangerous act.

According to TMZ:
In November, 2004, Kiefer was popped for driving with a .22 blood alcohol level, and plead no contest to drunk driving.

He was placed on 5 years probation. That means if he’s convicted on this morning’s DUI, he will have violated his probation.

Now here’s where the news gets worse: Guess who the judge was in the 2004 case?

That would be Judge Michael Sauer, the guy who threw the book at Paris Hilton for violating her probation.

If I was the judge I would try to make an example out of Kiefer for this serious crime. Too many Hollywood stars are going and committing serious crimes and are getting away with it.

If this was a non-famous person they would have been jailed and charges would have swiftly followed.

Unfortunately, for the general driving public Kiefer will receive a slap on the wrist and will more likely commit the crime again and may end up seriously injuring or killing someone.
