Unseen Consequences of The Writer’s Strike
As you know, the Writer’s Guild has been on strike for weeks. The reason their striking is over money being made of what they call ‘New Media’.
New media is videos of episodes that are being posted on the network stations’ websites. The writers are arguing that they should be getting a percentage off the income made off the sites.
So, the writers decided that they were going to strike until they had a contractual agreement with the networks over this new revenue.
But, what you might not know is that we the viewers aren’t the only one being affected by the strike.
You might think I’m crazy right? Well, your wrong.
As in the video below, you’ll notice that the writers are experiencing unsuspected issues that seem to have arose since the begin of the strike.
