Heath Ledger Dies At Age 28
Sadly, Hollywood lost one of it’s more talented and upcoming start this week. Heath Ledger was found dead, face-down and naked at the foot of his bed in his New York apartment.
Ledger just wrapped up filming of a new Batman film where he plays the schizophrenic Joker.
While juggling the Joker role and a couple other acting roles, Ledger began taking the sleeping pill Ambien to help aid him with his sleepless nights.
“Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night,” Ledger told The New York Times.
Currently, it is not known what exactly what was the cause of his death. It was thought early on in the investigation that the rolled up $20 dollar bill found in his room might indicate drug use.
But, experiments quickly threw out that accusation after tests indicated that there wasn’t any drug substances on the bill.
Heath’s body was found after the house maid let in the masseuse who had a 3:31 p.m. appointment with him.
After repeated unanswered knocking, both the housekeeper and the masseuse opened his door where they found his body.
Approximately, at 6:30 Tuesday night his body was removed from his SoHo apartment.
SoHo police also indicated that they found no sign that Heath had been drinking or consuming any illegal drugs.
Rumors are spreading rapidly around Hollywood that the cause of death might be from natural causes. These rumors state that Mr. Ledger might have died from a heart attack that he had while sleeping.
We’ll have to wait till later this week to find out all of the details and the true cause of this young actor’s death.
