Patrick Swayze Has Pancreatic Cancer
Patrick Swayze, most notably known for his role in movie hits like “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Shortly after this report hit the airway, rumors began to swirl on the internet. Some reports claim that the actor had been told that he only had 5 weeks to live. While other reports stated that the actor was in grave condition and only had hours to live.
These reports have not been confirmed and I can’t help but think that they are full of rubbish. It is being confirmed that Patrick is currently undergoing chemotherapy and still has maintained to keep all of his hair.
Annett Wolf, the star’s publicist recently sat down with People magazine and added that, “for the time being, there is no way to gauge how long the treatment is expected to last.”
She also add that “Swayze’s daily routine has remained unchanged, and his doctors are extremely optimistic regarding his prognosis.”
And to hopefully end all of the rumors that are going rampant she truthfully stated that “Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.’”
Even for his age, you can tell that he doesn’t look all that well. However, he seems to have alot of Hollywood friends who support him through this very difficult time in his life.
