Heather Mills might go down as the biggest gold digger in rock star history, after she walked away from divorce court this week with $62 million. Not only did she marry one of the most talented musicians alive, but one of richest too. That comes out to be $1700 for ever hour that she spent married to Paul. Even crazier is that the court ordered a whopping $42 of the $62 million to be paid upfront.

I can’t even imagine how devastating this divorce must be emotional and financially for Sir Paul. He has to feel that this woman used him for his money. To make matters worse, she complained to the judge that the proposed $100,000 a year wouldn’t be enough to cover their daughter’s school fees and nanny. What a bunch of bull, we all know that she wanted to drain him for as much money as she could.

Mills was quoted after the ruling saying, “I am so glad it is over. It is an incredible result in the end.”

“We are very, very pleased,” she added. “I am so, so happy with it.”

It is being rumored that the Mills’ camp was looking for even a larger sum than of which they finally received (125 million pounds). Even more damning, Heather Mills accused his lawyers for handling the case badly. This might be true, but what kind of signal does it send when the judge had to stop the ciaos and award the settlement himself. Apparently, both sides were to blame for this ciaos.

I recently talked to an aunt who lives and London and what she told me didn’t shock me one bit. She said that everyone including the tabloids there felt that Heather was after his money all along and she’s nothing but a gold digger.
