Nick Hogan Getting Jail Time
Nick Hogan, 17-year old son to the famous Hulk Hogan has just been sentenced to 8 months in jail for his part in a crash that left his best friend John Graziano paralyzed. These reckless driving charges stem back to last August when he was operating his vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher and illegal window tint.
On Wednesday, Nick, who’s real name is Nick Bollea turned himself into Pinellas County Jail where he was later released on $10,000 bond. The driver of the second car that Mr. Bollea was racing was also summoned to court where he faced the same charges of reckless driving. A statement was later released by a friend of the family stating, “The family’s primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick’s longtime friend John Graziano,” they said. “The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can.”
I don’t know how others feel, but I think that he got off easy. I mean I would tell the judge to throw the book at me if I was responsible for my fellow Marine friend becoming permanently paralyzed. What I am glad to see is that included in his sentence was 5 years of probation, 500 hours of community service, and that he is prohibited from drinking any alcohol. And most importantly he had his license provoked for 3 years. I thought my insurance was high, just wait till he has the opportunity to drive again lol
